Overview
At Swadeshi Masale, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with every purchase. If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we’re here to help.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase, invoice, or receipt is required for all returns.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable food items and spices once opened
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Health and personal care items
- Products that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery
Partial Refunds
In some situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Products not in original condition
- Damaged items or items missing parts not caused by our error
- Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery
Refund Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 05–07 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Recheck your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company or payment provider.
- Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable unless damaged or defective.
Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit for the value of the returned item.
If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.
For valuable returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
